The Connected Shop Platform
Shop management software that builds a repair intelligence network as a byproduct of doing repair orders correctly.
The Problem
Independent shops run on disconnected, legacy software that treats repair orders as flat line-item lists. Diagnostic data is unstructured free text. Service records are siloed per shop. Customer retention tools are bolted-on afterthoughts. The $8B repair intelligence market (Identifix, ALLDATA, Mitchell1) depends on technicians voluntarily logging fixes into separate systems -- contribution is dying and data quality is degrading.
For consumers: service records are scattered across gloveboxes and disconnected shops. Carfax charges $44/mo for incomplete, often inaccurate records. Maintenance is reactive -- "your car needs service NOW" -- with no time to plan or budget.
The Solution: Four Products, One Platform
myodo captures structured repair intelligence as an automatic byproduct of shop operations. No voluntary contribution. No extra work. The data flows from compliance -- shops are legally required to document findings, causes, and corrections on every repair order. We structure that mandatory documentation so it produces queryable intelligence.
Why We Win
Architectural differentiators that form a closed loop -- work categories, Three Cs diagnostic chain, Raw+Rendered dual layers, Living Health Document, five-status inspection, scan tool vision, built-in compliance. Copying one piece is useless without the others. Incumbents can't add these without full platform rewrites.
The network effect: Every shop on myodo contributes to the repair intelligence network by doing their normal job. The math scales fast -- at 1,000 shops, that's 30,000-50,000 structured, verified records per week. We also sell standalone access at $99/mo to shops not on our SMS -- extending the network and adding a second revenue stream.
